Hey, hi, hello! I'm Pinocchio. :)

I love to be with people and with other birds. Perching on your head is the best, and I'll step up for any kind of treat you wanna give me. I could use a little flight time though, 'cause I might love treats a liiittle *too* much (tee hee)!

I've made some friends while staying at this place though, and I really like one of them in particular. I've been teaching him that it's okay to be calm and interact with the people here, and I think I'd really like it if he got to come home with me, too! His name's Guiseppe (AID 1521282) and he gives me really good head scratches, so the human's don't mind so much about my new pin feathers coming up in this season 'cause he grooms them for me! ❤︎‬

🦜 Starting Indoor Enclosure Size: 82cm L x 54cm W x 90cm H (bar spacing 0.8-1.2cm). (Measurements not including stand, one bird per cage - two separate cages required if interested in both Pinochhio & Giuseppe.)
🦜 Current diet: Vetafarm Parrot B-Calm & fresh veggie chop daily, small amounts of high-quality budgie seed mix every other day, with sunflower and safflower seeds reserved for training and conditioning sessions.
🦜 Average lifespan of species: 20-30 years.

  • While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
